"Hits, I can take. After all, I was slapped on the ass the minute I was born, and not a damn thing has changed since."

The identical twin brother of Acheron, Styxx was born to wealth and power. During their mortal lives, Styxx believed himself to be the older brother. Because of Acheron’s life choices and refusal to listen to Styxx’s warnings, he was humiliated to be related to Acheron. The fact that they were identical in looks made it all the worse for him, and he was mocked throughout his life for it. Because of his own isolation brought on by being Acheron’s twin, he hated Acheron with a passion.

Unfortunately, their lives were tied together by Acheron’s mother. So when Apollo killed Acheron, Styxx died as well. And when Acheron returned to life, Styxx was also brought back.

And he isn’t happy about that, either.

Hear it from the Fans

There are a LOT of your books that I love BUT my favorite charater in your series hasnt even volunteered his own story yet but maybe with the support of his Dad and his Mom Urian will finally begin to heal!!! Until his story is told (which I hope is a 2 parter BTW) Styxx is by FAR my fave book!!!!!!

Hey when Ari was born at the end of Styxx he had dark hair whats with the blonde hair in SONO?

Sherri tries to make the characters as real as possible and as with many real children, Ari was born with thick dark hair that fell out and grew in a new color. Two of her own children did the same and she honored them by doing the same with Ari.

I have to say that I'm so glad that Styxx wouldn't leave you alone in wanting you to tell his story. I bought Styxx back in 2013 when it first came out excited beyond measure to finally read his story. It was so heart breakingly poignant I just knew that there was more to him than what was shown! You didn't disappoint me at all! I cried, I ranted and I wanted to take on the world to defend him. He's just a boy, he's just a boy I say out loud to myself. What? How? Why? Now every time I break the book out for a reread I always find something that I previously missed. What a great book and my favorite by far. Thank you for finally listening to him.

Just reread "Styxx." It, and "Acheron" are my favorite books in the series, closely followed by Kyrian's.
