Black Swan Society
Back in the seventies, eighties and early nineties, I wrote a number of short stories under several pseudonyms for a series I dubbed The Black Hat Society™. As the stories grew in popularity, I broke them into subsets to help my readers differentiate between them. Sisters of the Cauldron™ were those set in the modern day. Black Swan Society™ were those set as historicals. The Witch of Endor™ stories all revolved around a character who became a fan favorite. And The Dollmakers™ were about a group of Rootworkers and mystics. All of the stories were about a group of witches, necromancers, rootworkers, mystics and warlocks unlike any you’ve seen in fiction before. Unconventional and fun, they turn traditional lore on its ear.
