"Anyone can hate. It costs to love."

The mistress of Apollo, Ryssa is the cause of the curse that now affects the Apollites. The Apollite queen was so jealous of Apollo’s love of his human consort, that she sent out her men to slaughter Ryssa and her son.

Ryssa was twenty-seven when she died and it’s why the Apollites are forbidden to live past their twenty-seventh birthdays.

She was also the older sister of Acheron and Styxx, and Ash mourns her loss to this day. In his human life, she was the only one who offered him kindness.

If he ever has another daughter, he plans to name her after his sister.

I absolutely loved this book and cant wait to get everything you have written

Honnestly, while reading Styxx, which im in love with. Everytime Ryssavis mentioned i moan and want to just kill ber. She is a spoilt brat that cant handle the truth and has hurt Styxx and Acheron more than anyone should. She even courupted Acherons mind so he would hate his brother during their time alone in the summer castle. If i had one wish it would be for Ryssa to see Styxx's life and see how much she hurt him, her father hurt him and how much he wanted to be loved. If Sherrilyn Kenyon could write that little part and add it to the end of one of her books, i bet more people would buy it just to see justice being served.

To be honest after reading Styxx I don't really like her as much as I did in Acheron, she was just as cruel to Styxx as their father was to Acheron.

Are they gonna write a totally different book to tribute those who have died and found out what they did for truth or lies? Like a final revelations thing.

Hey I was just wondering if there is any chance that Ryssa will show up again in any future books and cross paths with Acheron and/or Styxx? Yeah I know she's dead and in the underworld but its always possible. I would really like to see that terrible rift between her and Styxx finally closed.

With the exception that she never used physical violence she was almost exactly like her father. How? Her father looked at Acheron but never saw him, he heard Acheron but never listened to him and he judged Acheron but never knew him nor even tried to get to know him. Likewise Ryssa Looked at Styxx but never saw him, she heard Styxx but never listened to him and she Judged stYxx but she never knew him nor bothered to try to get to know him.
