"Beaten paths are for beaten men."

One of the infamous Tuatha Dé Danann (Tribe of Danu), Morrigan is a staple of Celtic lore. A goddess of Strife, Fertility and Battle, she can appear as either a single goddess or three (the Celts love a good trinity).

Her forms are:

Badb  or Mache = Crow
Nemain = Frenzy
Morrigan = Phantom

And she can appear as a young woman, middle age or old. She is a goddess of power and one not to be trifled with.

For a Goddess, she is one of the coolest ones out there. And you got to love that name! If I have any more kids and have a daughter, I may very well name her Morrigan. Only someone like her could play a little old lady, almost frail and fragile, and then turn out to be the Goddess of war-battle, strife and fertility. She is one cool goddess! I highly encourage everyone to read up more about her, there is so much to be learned. Morrigan is just awesome!
