Welcome Pilgrim, Crusader or other who bears our mark. Ours is a secret order. One born of blood and fire. It is a bond of kinship we dare not speak of and yet it binds us thicker than that of any familial ties.

We banded together to survive the unimaginable, and the handful of us who made it out took a solemn vow- we would never forget. Nor would we turn our backs on those we left behind.

You will find us where you least expect us. We are princes, knights, beggars and whores. Motley in assortment and haunted by our past, we bear many faces.

There is only one way to identify us. The crescent that was branded onto the back of our left hand. Most of us have chosen to hide the mark. Some of us wear it with honor. All of us continue to fight for ourselves and to reclaim what was stolen from us, but most of all we fight for others.

So come, friend, join us in a drink and let us take a moment of silence to remember our fallen and a moment of happiness to enjoy the good that now surrounds us. For in the end, we will prevail and peace will once again reign in this land of chaos.

The Brotherhood is lead by The Quinfortis: the five men to whom we owe everything. They pulled together and got us out alive and once we were free, they set up a network to help others escape and readjust to the world that had forgotten them.

Without their strength, their courage and most of all their heart none of us would be here today. We honor and pay tribute to them even though many of us don't even know their real names.

Q: Do the books have to be read in order?

A: Absolutely not. As with all my series, they have recurring characters and do refer to events in past books, but each one is written with new readers in mind. So if you pick up in the middle of the series or skip around, you won't miss anything.

Q:Will there be anymore Brotherhood books?

A:I still have a few more books that I'm dying to write such as the Scot and Damien, but they need more time to germinate in my brain. When I have the stories just right, I intend to continue on.

Q:Will Kit ever have a book?

A:I would LOVE for Kit to have a book, but have no storyline for him at this time. Hopefully soon.

Q:Why are the MacAllisters and Brotherhood books linked?

A:I originally had them all under the Brotherhood banner, but my editor wanted them done as separate series since the MacAllisters were a family. They are, however, one series and should be read as one.

Q:Is Kieran MacAllister a Dark-Hunter? And will you put him in a Dark-Hunter book? (Spoiler contained in the answer)

A:Not as easy to answer. I knew when I started the series that Kieran wasn't alive. But when I wrote the Warrior, I couldn't bring myself to end the book with him dead. So I cheated a bit and yes, he's technically a Dark-Hunter. Will he make an appearance in that series? Depends on my publishers. Since there are two different houses who publish the series, I have to get their permission to blur those lines.

Q:Will there be anymore MacAllister books?

A:We're really out of them. They were only four brothers. We still have the Scot whose book I plan to do eventually, but other than Kieran's son, we're running low on them :)
