Max is a severe loner. One of the rare dragon Katagaria, he makes his home in the attic of Peltier House in New Orleans. He doesn’t mingle with others often, but he does have special skills that come in handy from time to time. Ruthless and cold, he prefers solitude and speaks to very few– Aimee Peltier is one of the few.
No one knows anything about his past as he likes it that way. There is a belief that he was wounded so badly in battle that he can no longer fly. But no one has been able to get the truth from him. Then again, he ate the last person who asked that question and since then no one else has been brave enough to question him.

Will Max ever have a book?
I have one in the back of my mind, but it's still germinating. His book is actually tied to Illarion's and I think I'll have to take Max into the past. But, I don't know. It's still percolating.
