The eldest son of Chaos (the formless matter that birthed the universe) and Fegkia (Splendor), Asteros was born to give light to the heavens. He is the God of Heavenly Light. Of stars, comets and fire.
It is said that he looked down out of his golden chariot one night and saw the Atlantean people huddled in the dark. Taking pity on the humans, he reached up into the sky and took a handful of stars and gave them to the people and showed them how to make fire– their own version of heavenly light.
