Abby Blanton’s mother is in failing health, and shouldn’t be. Something happened to her mother at the Renaissance Women’s Center during a visit ten days ago, but no one will talk to her or help find a donor with her mother’s rare blood. Abby turns to her investigative skills as a television news journalist at a Chicago fundraiser where she leaves with more questions than she brought and becomes the focus of a killer with a twisted sense of honor.
