A lifelong fan of comics, Sherri's older brother taught her to read by using Spiderman comics. Her current collection spans decades, and ranges in the thousands of plastic covered issues that she's protected during her lifetime.
The concept for Lords of Avalon was born while Sherri was working on a thesis about how the Courtly Love movement was heavily influenced by Arthurian legend and Celtic tradition. While reading for her paper, she was struck with the idea that if Camelot had been real, what happened after the battle of Baden Hill? Not everyone died there. What happened to those beloved characters the next day?
In her world, centuries have passed since the death of Arthur and Camelot is in the hands of Morgen and her evil court while those of the Round Table who survived have retreated to Avalon where they continue to wage war...

Sherri has been studying Arthurian legends since she was seven years old. She even reads the Mabinogion in Welsh, as well as having worked on translations of Chretien de Troyes and Chaucer for her professors while in college.
Working with Marvel was a lifelong dream of Sherri's.
